Oh...
I think it's safe to introduce this at the moment, since the series is on a pretty long hiatus. It feels great to have something to look forward to, something good you know is coming up on your life horizon - the continuance of Sherlock. Haven't felt this way since the wait of 6th Harry Potter book.
The series, for me, doesn't give sleuth a new meaning - it introduced it. Never been a big fan of mystery tales before (mystery = murder, dark streets, old bloke). Bless the people who put Benedict Cumberbatch under Sherlock Holmes' hat - but it's not just about him. His enjoyably tantalising chemistry with John Watson (Martin Freeman), the life-long snappy brotherhood with Mycroft, and the palpability of his brain getting off on solving 21st century cases - these are the things that make me miss watching Sherlock the most.
